How we prepare quotes...

All our quotes are individually prepared for our customers, depending on their personal circumstances and the volume of goods they have to move. Some of our moves only require a small team and one vehicle, whereas some of them involve numerous vehicles and a lot of preparation and organisation before and on the removal day(s).

We take into account the distance we will travel and whether the property needs to be vacated by the morning of the move so the new owners/tenants can move in. We also look at the access available to us and whether there are any large items of furniture requiring dismantling and reassembling, or any items which can only be removed from the house via specialist access (the most common one being windows).

We will ask various questions regarding your new property to ensure we have the correct vehicle(s), and to make sure we have any road restrictions cleared or any other potential issues that may arise.

We do not charge a 'key wait', which is common in removals for the waiting period that the removal vans are kept waiting whilst keys are exchanged before access can be made. We want to make your move as stress free as possible and don't like to add this pressure.
